Every experience on the record, ranked by the lowest price its operator publishes, on one footing: per person, for the shortest stay sold, with the tax. Two price on enquiry and sit at the end without a number. Read 14 September 2026.

Cheapest first

"From" is the lowest adult double rate in the newest published tariff, per person, for the shortest stay the operator sells, with tax where the Ledger records the rate. A place priced by the night is shown at its minimum stay and the column says so; a per-night equivalent for a package is the package price divided by its nights, and is ours, not the operator's. The season column is the season that lowest rate applies to; other seasons cost more.

Lightwater Cove is the only coastal retreat on the record: from $214 per person per night on a 2-night minimum, Autumn (September and October), 2026 tariff, about $492 with taxes and fees at 15%. That rate leaves out taxes and fees at 15%, added by the booking engine, dinner, which the guesthouse does not serve, spa treatments.

What is the cheapest wilderness experience on the record?

For a stay, Lightwater Cove: from $214 per person per night, about $492 with taxes and fees at 15% for 2 nights, autumn, September and October. For a day out with no bed in the price, Tofino Fish Guides: $800 per boat for up to 3, Afternoon, 4 hours. The ranking is by the lowest adult double rate each operator publishes, so a place that sells only longer or guided stays sits higher for that reason.

Do these prices include tax?

12 of the 14 add tax on top of the printed rate, and the table shows the figure with it: Taxes and fees at 15%; GST at 5%. Mistaya Lodge prints a price with the tax already in it. For Tofino Fish Guides the tax rate is not on the record, so the figure is before tax. Gratuities, licences, alcohol and the transfer where it is not included are on top everywhere they apply; each listing's Ledger lists them, and the calculator adds them.
