# How many days do you need at Wahous Wilderness Lodge

> Pick the outings you want and see which package holds them, using the lodge's own day structure.

Wahous Wilderness Lodge: from $2,425.69 CAD per person for 2 nights, double in a Deck 1 stateroom, taxes and fees included, in a season of 2 July to 18 October 2026 with arrivals on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays; an Ahousaht-owned floating lodge in Quait Bay, Clayoquot Sound, 20 minutes by boat from Tofino, with meals, drinks by the glass, guided kayaking, a wildlife tour and the spa decks in the price.

Read from Wahous Wilderness Lodge, Packages (Your Stay) on 15 September 2026.

## How the days divide

The boat leaves Tofino from 3 pm, so arrival day is the crossing, the longhouse welcome and dinner. Each full day has a morning and an afternoon; the guided outings are half days and the spa and the lake fill the rest. Departure morning is breakfast and the boat back. Pick what you want and see which stay holds it.

- Arrival day: 1 block
- A full day: 2 blocks
- Departure day: 0 blocks

Arrival afternoon counts as one block for something short; a full day is two; departure morning is breakfast and the boat.

## The outings

- Guided sea kayak along the Cypress Bay coast: 1 block. About 3 hours, all levels, towards the Cypre River, watching the rocky shoreline for marine life.
- Boat wildlife tour of the territory: 1 block. About 3 hours in the zodiac or the covered boat through the channels: whales, otters, seals, sea lions, bears and eagles.
- The Darville Lake trail: 1 block. A guided 2-hour hike through the rainforest on a rugged trail; the lodge asks for excellent mobility and balance.
- A guided fishing charter: 1 block. About 4 hours in Clayoquot Sound for up to four guests. Arranged at the lodge; not in the package price and not priced on the site.
- Swim and paddle at Darville Lake: 1 block, worth repeating. Warm fresh water, floating docks to swim out to, kayaks and paddleboards on the lake. Self-guided; a team member can drive you up.
- A paddle on Quait Bay on your own: 1 block, worth repeating. Kayaks and paddleboards from the dock, at your own pace, after checking in at the front desk.
- An afternoon at Oo-chims: 1 block, worth repeating. The sun deck, the hot tubs, the sauna and the cold plunge are included; treatments are an add-on booked before you arrive.
- An evening in the longhouse: 1 block, worth repeating. Every stay begins and ends here: the fire, the stories, the shared meal. Counted as an evening rather than a day block.

## The packages
