# What a trip to Steep Island Lodge costs, all in

Steep Island Lodge: $545 CAD per person a night, single, double or triple, all inclusive, 2026 rates, before tax, bar and tips, with the airport shuttle and the 10-minute water taxi included and guided salmon fishing on top at $1,520 per boat for an 8-hour day.

## The package prices, 2026 (CAD)

Per person, Canadian dollars, taxes, alcohol and gratuities not included. The lodge sells one nightly rate of $545 at single, double or triple occupancy, with children 12 and under at half; it is shown here multiplied out for stays of 2 to 5 nights. Guided salmon fishing is on top, $190 an hour per boat on an 8-hour tide.

## What the calculator adds

- GST at 5%: 5% of the package
- Guided salmon fishing, per boat per day: $1,520 per party, per night. The lodge's rate: $190 an hour on an 8-hour tide, for a boat of up to four anglers, with guide, gear, rain gear, lunch and fish boxing. Counted once per lodge night here; edit the amount for fewer fishing days or a second boat.
- Tidal fishing licence: $35 per person. Estimate. Not in the fishing price; a non-resident short-term tidal licence with a salmon stamp is in this range. Buy it online from Fisheries and Oceans Canada before you arrive.
- Gratuities: 10% of the package (choices: 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%). Not in the price and at your discretion; 10% of the package is the norm at lodges on this coast.
- Bar, per night: $25 per person, per night (off by default). Estimate. Alcohol is not included; cocktails and appetizers on the Lido Deck are the lodge's own end to the day.

Lines the operator did not publish are marked estimate in their note; the calculator on the page lets a reader change them. The enquiry it opens leads with the tariff's own currency.
