# What a trip to Purcell Mountain Lodge costs, all in

Purcell Mountain Lodge: from $2,598 CAD per person for 3 nights, double, winter 2026/27 (December to April), plus tax, with the helicopter from Golden, meals and guiding in the price, and the lodge says to call for the best rate.

## The package prices, 2027 (CAD)

Per person, Canadian dollars, double occupancy, taxes not included. These are the "starting from" figures on the lodge's winter 2026/27 home page; the lodge says to call for the best rate, which depends on availability and helicopter seats. The helicopter from Golden, meals and guiding are in the price. A single supplement applies to a room used by one adult, and youth and child rates apply to a shared room, but neither is published.

## What the calculator adds

- GST at 5%: 5% of the package
- A night in Golden before you fly: $200 per party. Estimate for a room. The lodge says to plan on it; flights leave at 8:00 or 9:00 and it names two hotels with a Purcell rate.
- Gratuities: 15% of the package (choices: 0%, 10%, 15%, 20%). At your discretion; the lodge suggests 15 to 20% of the trip cost, shared among the staff. Added to the bar tab on the last evening; 2.5% more if paid by card.
- Cash bar, per night: $25 per person, per night (off by default). Estimate. Wines, craft beers, ciders and spirits are sold; no outside alcohol is allowed in.
- Wifi, per day: $15 per person, per night (off by default). The lodge's rate, plus tax, arranged before you arrive. Otherwise you are off the grid.
- Avalanche kit rental, per day: $30 per person, per night (off by default). The lodge's rate for a transceiver, shovel and probe, winter only; book it ahead.
- Credit card surcharge: 3% of the package (choices: 0%, 3%) (off by default). The lodge adds 3% to Visa and Mastercard payments since 1 September 2025; e-transfer avoids it.

Lines the operator did not publish are marked estimate in their note; the calculator on the page lets a reader change them. The enquiry it opens leads with the tariff's own currency.
