Mistaya Lodge: from $2,400 CAD per person for 3 nights, sharing, summer 2027 (2 July to 20 September), with all taxes and the helicopter from Golden included; winter 2026/27 is from $3,400, and every winter week from 31 January to 11 April 2027 was already full when read on 14 September 2026. Read from Mistaya Lodge, winter rates and availability on 14 September 2026. ## How the days divide One outing a day: out at 9:30 or 10, back by 4 for the sauna. You go out on the afternoon you land and fly home the morning you leave. Pick the days you want and see which trip length holds them; the guides set the real order by weather and the group. - Arrival day: 1 block - A full day: 1 block - Departure day: 0 blocks Landing mid-morning leaves one outing on arrival day; you are back in Golden by noon on departure day. ## The outings - East Slopes and 3 Lakes circuit: 1 block. Seasons: Summer 2027. 6 to 10 km, 5 to 7 hours, 350 to 600 m of climbing through the meadows, the karst chasm and Boulder Meadows to the toe of the Wildcat glacier. - Mohawk Ridge: 1 block. Seasons: Summer 2027. About 5 km and 4 hours, 250 m, half on trail. - Wildcat Creek waterfalls: 1 block. Seasons: Summer 2027. 4 km, 3 to 4 hours, 200 m, all on trail. The gentle day. - Grindel, Nexus, Wildcat loop: 1 block. Seasons: Summer 2027. 5 to 10 km, 4 to 7 hours, 400 m. - Moon Dark Meadows: 1 block. Seasons: Summer 2027. 6 to 7 km, 5 to 6 hours, 400 m, mostly off trail. - A non-technical 3,000 m peak: 1 block, worth repeating. Seasons: Summer 2027. Barbette Prow, West Peyto or Mistaya Peak: 14 to 15 km, 8 to 10 hours, about 1,000 m of climbing. - A technical peak with a mountain guide: 1 block. Seasons: Summer 2027. Needs at least 4 nights on site. Mt Baker, Trapper, Grindel, Parapet, Boomerang. An ACMG mountain guide booked well ahead, at a 2 or 3 day minimum charge whatever the weather does. - A guided touring day: 1 block, worth repeating. Seasons: Winter 2026/27. The core of the week: 3,000 to 5,000 vertical feet, often a summit. Most guests do this every day. - A tree-skiing day: 1 block, worth repeating. Seasons: Winter 2026/27. What the guides pick when the glaciers are in cloud; the glades near the lodge are the low-hazard ground. - A clinic day: powder technique, snow science, glacier travel: 1 block. Seasons: Winter 2026/27. On request, within the guided day. A level 3 powder instructor is at the lodge some weeks; private instruction is priced on enquiry. - A snowshoe and toboggan day: 1 block, worth repeating. Seasons: Winter 2026/27. For the non-skier in the party; snowshoes rent for $12 a day. ## The packages - 3 nights: 3 nights on site, 3 away. Friday to Monday in summer; in winter only the 16 to 19 April trip. - 4 nights: 4 nights on site, 4 away. Monday to Friday in summer; in winter the January and April short trips. - 5 nights: 5 nights on site, 5 away. Winter only, one April trip. - 6 nights: 6 nights on site, 6 away. Winter only, one January trip. - 7 nights: 7 nights on site, 7 away.
