Basecamp Suites Canmore is an apartment-style building at 721 10th Street, tucked just off Main Street, built for parties that want a kitchen and a washing machine as much as a bed. The suites run from a micro suite for two to a three-bedroom with bunk apartment for ten, with full kitchens, in-unit laundry and premium linen, and the three-bedroom units have long dining tables under copper pendants. There is a rooftop hot tub open nine to ten daily with change rooms and towels, a lawn and fire table behind the building, covered parking under the suites, and the complimentary shuttle to Everwild, Basecamp's Nordic spa across town. Downtown Canmore is a five-minute walk. I photographed and filmed the building and built its 360 tour.

## From, per person

What the suites are, what a stay includes and the terms you agree to, from the property page and the group terms. No rate card exists: the price is set by date in the booking engine, so the price band on this page is an estimate and the live number is one click away.

## Questions people ask

**Which apartment for a group of ten?**

The three-bedroom with bunk sleeps ten across four beds with two full bathrooms; the plain three-bedroom sleeps eight. Both have the long dining table and the full kitchen, so a week of day trips can be cooked for rather than eaten out.

**Is it really walkable to town?**

Yes. 721 10th Street is a block off Main Street; the coffee shops, the breweries and the trailheads along the Bow are all within ten minutes on foot, so a car is for the day trips rather than for dinner.

**What does a night cost?**

Basecamp does not print a rate card; the price for each room or suite is set by the date and the length of stay in the booking engine on the property page, with a choice of a flexible rate (cancel free until 72 hours before arrival) and a lower non-refundable prepaid rate. Suites with kitchens are priced for the whole unit, not per person, so a family or two couples in a two-bedroom pays one rate.

**Can I bring my dog?**

At the properties with pet-friendly units, yes, up to two pets, and you must say so when you book so a pet-friendly unit is allocated; a pet found in a non-pet unit is charged $100 a night. Pets stay off the furniture and bedding, out of the spa, on a lead on the property, and any extra cleaning is billed.

**Is there parking?**

Basecamp aims to provide one complimentary space per reservation at every property, displayed with a parking pass; it is not guaranteed, and a second vehicle is not promised a space.
